With the development of technology and economic globalization business management is more and more complex and have far more exceeded a single discipline range. Cross-disciplinary training is one of the main characters of modern business management learning and DIS is such a multi-disciplinary item. Since I am very interested in business management and I majored in accounting and be good at computer and mathematics, the master degree of DIS is the most appropriate education for me to become a future business management elite.

I was fond of mathematics and computer from early year and often bore the palm in these two disciplines. I completed my high school education in mathematical special class of xxxxxx experimental high school. This class only accepted those students who have special talent in mathematics. Such training made me have strong ability and systematical knowledge in mathematics. In 1997 I entered into xxxxx xxxx College and majored in accounting and also study the foundational courses of economics and management. Although my GPA of accounting is not high because I was attracted by other interesting disciplines, I did learn many important and useful things from these disciplines that will be a good foundation for my future management career.

In my four years at China Financial College , our class have simulated a web-station project and I charged of the whole project. I learned much knowledge of risk management, project creation and capital functioning. Moreover I saw that a manager's knowledge must be combined with swift mind and decision and change with the economic changes. In my later study and work, I keep training these abilities consciously.

My graduate thesis was ' The Reform of Internal Control System of the Industry of Finance'. The China industry of banking lack of competition for a long time. Therefore it will confront greater challenges after China join in WTO. The question of how to deal with banking management problem puzzled many economists and I advocated the reform of internal control system in my paper. Although my thesis was highlighted by my tutor, I know that this is a complex matter and couldn't be dissolved by a single way. After I graduated in 2001, I work at xxxxx Bank. The experience of practice makes me understand more profoundly the matter's difficulty. Since the combination of computer and financial management is the inevitable trend of financial development, DIS could be helpful to me.

China needs a great number of person with ability of computer and financial knowledge to help managers to attain useful information and deal with problems effectively after WTO, but our country lack of such person very much. If I could be trained by DIS and combine my ability in computer, mathematics and fiancé in your university, I could meet the need of our country. Because I'm good at computer and mathematics, I want to select Information technology as my specialty.

American education is advanced in the word and attracts students all over the world. I have studied in U.S. as an exchange student for two months when I was in high school. The favorable study conditions and advanced education equipments impressed me. The information I've read recently in the web-station of your University about your teachers, study environment and discipline items make me eager to enter such a university. And I believe my practical experience in bank combined with my fascination with management will make me a valuable asset to your university.
