Research
& Working Experience
1998
As Publicity Chief of the "Computer Association"
(an organization of computer science department), I successfully
organized and participated in the whole process of exhibition
of "Computer Festival of Hubei Universities",
which was held in my university.
1999
Being elected by "America Way" (the most distinguished
English-study group of my university) as Honorary Judge,
I worked for the second "Wuhan University of Technology
English Speech Contest".
2000
One of the two founders of Class Newspapers, which focuses
mainly on the new trends and developments in the computer
world, accompanied by the exchanges of learning experiences
of my classmates, published 5 editions in all. The paper
was among the top 3 in the ranking list of all similar class
newspapers of my college.
2000
During the summer vacation, I helped with a promotional
exhibition of the recognition system of the handwritings
of Chinese kings during the ancient periods, an opportunity
that enabled me to be acquainted with the concept of computer
vision.
2001
The only undergraduate student to participate as a research
assistant in a computer vision research project.
